The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Higher Education, was established by the ZAQA Act No. 13 of 2011 to develop and implement a national qualifications framework; provide for the registration and accreditation of qualifications, and ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.
ZAQA is currently seeking services of suitably qualified person to fill the position of: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – TECHNICAL
Overall Responsibilities
The Assistant Director Technical is the Chief Technical Officer of the Zambia
Qualifications Authority, responsible for coordinating qualification standards
setting and; registration and accreditation of qualifications on the Zambia
Qualifications framework.
Qualifications and Experience:
i) A G12 School Certificate;
ii) A Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technical or Social Science discipline earned from a recognised University;
ii) A Master’s degree in a Science, Technical or Social Science discipline earned from a recognised University;
iv) At least six years’ experience at senior management.
