CCTV Support Technician Full Time
Essential Commodities Limited of Lusaka is seeking a highly qualified CCTV & Networking technician to maintain, troubleshoot and ensure maximum uptime of company CCTV cameras.
To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least 2 years experience working with CCTV systems and broad knowledge of networks such as LAN and WAN.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring that cameras are up and running at all times with minimum downtime.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining camera setup.
- Ensuring that all camera cables and connections are secured and not affected by bad weather.
- Giving reports and advising IT department on what is needed to prevent downtime and ensure that all cameras are clear and running well.
- Working with maintenance to run cables for new camera installations.
- New full installations of CCTV systems within group of companies.
- Setting up camera display on external devices such as Smartphone’s and Tablets via HIK Vision app.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Telecommunication Systems and Computer Networks and/or related field with broad knowledge in CCTV surveillance systems.
